The Millistream Data Feed (MDF) has been architected for speed, throughput, availability and ease-of-use.
We offer a range APIs, including C, .Net and Java – ensuring we can easily integrate into our clients’ choice of environment. The feed is available via the Internet and can also be via a cross-connect in one of our co-location facilities.
Our feed architecture supports both publish and subscribe capabilities, which means customers can use the same connection to contribute data to our infrastructure and make that available more broadly.
The Millistream Database Application captures and stores all the content from the MDF and makes it available to customers for further examination and analysis.
The database connects to a permission engine and can provide access to real-time or delayed pricing data, depending on user entitlements. It supports all major database engines and Millistream makes all of its documentation, binaries and source code available to download.
Customers are free to replicate MDA in their own environment and can also use the technology to support their own proprietary analytics.
All data sets can be delivered as flat files. These files can be customized in many ways, to deliver exactly the content you need in any format. Typically these will be stored on our FTP but they can also be sent as mail attachments.

Our web solutions include both web services delivered via a RESTful API and HTML 5 display widgets that can easily be integrated into financial portals. All of those solutions have been built to scale horizontally to support any number of concurrent users globally.
